Somalia: foreign affairs minister meets his Yemen counterpart in Sana’a
Foreign affairs minister of federal government of Somalia Abdirahman Duale Beilah who reached the capital of Yemen, Sana’a has taken meeting with his Yemen counterpart Abdalla Mohamed.
The consular of Somalia’s embassy in Yemen Ahmed Sudani told the state owned radio that the two ministers discussed wide range issues including the ties between the two nations, the effects of pirates, Somali ships that were in Yemen since the overthrow of the central government and Somali refugees residing in Yemen for over two decades.
The minister has commended the efforts and the solidarity of the republic of Yemen to the federal government of Somalia and its people particularly the refugees.
Mr. Beilah asked the government of Yemen to increase the number of scholar seats it provide to Somali students so as to promote the education level that has improving the last few months.
