Somalia: Roadside Bomb Kills 3 in Lower Shabelle
Reports from Lower Shabelle indicates that an explosion was late yesterday targeted officials from Lower Shabelle region while they were on their way to Shalanbod.
The explosion which was a roadside bomb hit a convoy with Lower Shabelle governor Ibrahim Ali Adan Najax, and there were casualties in the blast.
According to the reports, three soldiers were killed and several others injured in the attack. The deputy district commissioner of Qoryoole was also wounded inthe same incident.
Al-Shabaab has recently strengthened its attacks on Somali National Army bases in regions.
