South West to elect four more MPs today

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BAIDOA: South state parliament is today electing four more MPs adding to 11 the number of MPs who will have been elected at the close of business today.

The following seats are set to be elected today:

HOP # 154

HOP # 213

HOP # 180

HOP # 193

HOP #154 has been for the last four years been occupied by Major General Mohamed Abdalla while HOP # 213 has been held by Yaqub Ali Mohamed.

HOP # 180 was held by MP Dahir Abdi Abdulle while HOP # 193 was held by Mohamud Mohamed Bono.

Four members were yesterday elected to the House of the People in Baidoa yesterday adding to 7 the total number of seats elected in the region.
