SWS parliament approves newly appointed cabinet

Southwest state assembly has today unanimously approved the newly appointed cabinet by the state president Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen.

A majority, 123 out of 124 members who were present in today’s seating approved the cabinet by a show of hands paving way for the first government for the newly elected president.

Sheikh Sheekuna Maye, the speaker of southwest state parliament, noted that the cabinet ministers have got the confidence vote and should perform their duties with fairness.

Southwest State president Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen appointed the first cabinet made up 10 ministers on 2^nd February 2019.

Laftagareen was elected on December 2018 as the new president of Southwest state.
