The leaders of IJA and South West Somalia meet in Kismayo

The leaders of interim Juba administration and South West Somalia Ahmed Mohamed Islam and Sharif Hassan Sheikh Adan respectively are taking closed door meeting in the port city of Kismayo.

Sources close to Kismayo state house confirm that the talks between the leaders in Kismayo focuses on security, strengthening the relations between the sides, reconciliation, fight against Al-shabab among other issues.

Sharif Hassan, the president of South West Somalia reached the port city of Kismayo for the first time since elected 17^th November 2014.

They are expected to hold press conference after their meeting is over. Sharif Hassan will conclude his two day trip to Kismayo latter today.
