August 15, 2015: Somaliland prison guard wounds an inmate who later dies as result of injuries he sustained. The circumstance surrounding the death of inmate caused alarm inside human right activists in the Somaliland.
August 17, 2015: Some Somaliland elders’ in Hargaisa demanded the replacement of Hargaisa mayor from Somaliland authority saying mayor failed to treat his citizen fairly.
August 17, 2015: Three Somaliland main opposition parties accept the decision of the stats’ constitutional court which upholded the previous Somaliland senate decision which extended the term of Silanyo government to 22months.
August 18, 2015: five robbers with veiled faces attacked money store which they managed to robber undisclosed amount of money ; Borma officials told the press that the five robbers are still in run but they are trying everything necessary to stop and bring the them in the front of justice.
August 21, 2015: Somaliland deputy president Abdirhman Abdullhai Ismail Sayli travelled to neighboring country of Ethiopia and said he and his team will go there for meeting with Ethiopian officials .
