Traders in Galmudug close shops, protest ‘new taxes’

Traders in Galmudug have closed their shops in protest of what they termed as additional taxes imposed by the state.

A section of the traders who spoke to the media decried the ‘oppressive’ taxes noting they were already reeling from the negative impact of COVID-19.

There was no immediate comment from the Ministry of Finance.
