Two people killed in Galkayo by unidentified gunmen

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GALKAYO: Two people were shot dead and three others injured after armed assailants sprayed fire on them in a commercial center in the northern town of Galkayo, the capital of Mudug Region.

The five, all said to be young people, are believed to have been killed as a result of clan conflict between two communities in the Mudug region, which has so far resulted in the killing of a number of people.

Puntland police officers are said to have responded to the incident and promised that no stone would be left unturned until the culprits are tracked down and brought to justice.
