Kenyan forces repulse Al-Shabaab ambush in Dhobley, southern Somalia

A Kenyan military convoy in Dhobley, Lower Jubba repulsed Al-Shabaab ambush Tuesday but there are no reports of any casualties.

Goobjoog News correspondent in the area said the convoy was travelling from Afmadow to Dhobley when it came under attack but the soldiers fought back and proceeded with their journey.

AMISOM has not commented on the matter.

Al-Shabaab confirmed the attack.
