Puntland regional state student demand for national education certificate from the federal government of Somalia after the Puntland administration decided to established regional education certificate separately for Puntland student.
The last Somali national examination council of 2019 Puntland student attended but not provided any certificate. “we the student of Puntland need federal government certificate as we also declared of Puntland certificate will not play a role in the future of the students who were studying for 12 years”.
The students made this statement shortly after the school’s visit to the Puntland education minister, who told the students not to worry about the degree issue and to trust their administration.
However, students publicly speak to the media said they want to be the same as other Somali students and face one unified test.
The students expressed deep concern over the education dispute between the two sides, stating that they are not prepared to debate their future and oppose anything that hurts their aspirations and unity in Somalia.
Since the conflict began between the Puntland regional state and federal government in the education sector, Puntland students worried about their learning and education system while their parent strongly concerns about this who was struggling for students fee and essential needs in the process of learning.
