Sudanese National Arrested in Puntland Over Links to Terror

GOOBJOOG NEWS | PUNTLAND: A Sudanese national has been arrested by Puntland police over terrorism links.
According to a statement from the Puntland Police Command, the suspect, identified as Ahmed Hussein Ibrahim was arrested in a planned operation by the Puntland Police at Ufayn District in Bari region.
“Police conducted an anti-terrorism operation at Ufayn District where Sudanese citizen suspected to have links to the ISIS/Da’esh terror group was arrested,” the statement read in part.
The statement added that the ISIS terror group has increased foreign fighters to join their ranks in their terrorism operations.
