AMISOM Troops Return to Baladweyne after Refused Passage

AMISOM troops who were heading to Adado town to safe guard the Central State Formation has returned back to Baladweyne after they were refused passage by Ahlu Sunnah fighters in Mataban.

According to Mataban district commissioner Mohamed Hassan Ali, they couldn’t allow AMISOM to proceed to Adado.

AMISOM has yet to comment on the development and our attempts to solicit comments were futile.
