Banadir Officials, Ministers Join Residents in Eid Celebrations, Call for Unity

 GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Banadir region officials, alongside ministers from the DanQaran government, joined residents of Mogadishu’s Dayniile and Daarusalaam districts to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, promoting unity, peace, and social cohesion.

During their visit to celebrations, officials engaged with security personnel and local residents, assessing the situation on the ground and encouraging efforts toward stability.

In Daarusalaam, several senior ministers participated in the festivities, including Education Minister Farah Abdulkadir, Commerce Minister Mahmoud Ahmed Aden, State Security Minister Mohamed Ali Haga, Deputy Health Minister Mohamed Hassan Mohamed, and Banadir’s Deputy Governor for Social Affairs Abdiaziz Osman Mohamed.

The officials conveyed Eid greetings, reaffirming the government’s commitment to fostering national solidarity and serving the Somali people.
