Bare Hirale to join interim Juba administration
The interim administration of Juba in Southern Somalia has announced that Bare Adan Shire aka Hirale will reach Kismayo in the coming few days following discussions between Federal government ministers and Juba administration leaders.
Hassan Hared, a senior official of the interim Juba administration stated that the dialogue between the rival groups led by Hirale and the Juba administration is in its final stages and will soon be concluded.
He confirmed that representatives of the opponent leader in Kismayo, adding that Bare Hirale is expected to join the dialogue between the two sides so as to end the political tensions between Ahmed Madobe and Bare Hirale that has been going on for more than a year.
Federal government ministers and IGAD officials in Kismayo have been persuading interim Juba administration led by Ahmed Mohamed Islan and the rival leader Bare Adan Shire to end their differences in peaceful dialogue.
Three days clash between Juba administration and Bare Hirale militia in the port city of Kismayo has left dozens of people dead as Bare’s militia were ousted from the city.
