Blast in Kismayo Leaves one soldier Dead

A Jubbaland administration soldier is reportedly killed and five others sustained injuries in an explosion that occurred in the residence of a politician in the town of Kismayo, capital of Lower Jubba region.
Col. Mohamed Ismail Kheyre told Goobjoog FM that the blast resulted from the explosion of a shell owned by the guards of Iftin Hassan Baasto, and unwillingly exploded leaving behind casualties.
He confirmed that the accident occurred but it was not a planned attack as some media centers reported and there is nothing to worry about as the situation is now clam.
Kismayo is the headquarters of the Interim Jubba administration lead by Ahmed Mohamed Islam, a former Islamist leader, but allied with Somali government.
