Breaking News: Young Somali Musician dies in Mogadiashu

Well known young Somali musician Umu-Shariif has died early today in a hospital in Mogadishu.

Shamso Shumay who was her co-worker has confirmed her death saying Umu-Shariif was ailing and she passed on this morning in Benadir Hospital.

The deceased was celebrated for singing largely patriotic and love songs.

One of her best songs includes Hooyo (My Mum), Dahirow and more others.
