BREAKING: Somaliland confirms new COVID19 case

Somaliland Ministry of Health confirms one case of COVID19 raising the total number of confirmed cases to 6 patients since the first two cases of coronavirus found in Somaliland territories were reported on Tuesday, March.

Somaliland launched a public awareness program to combat coronavirus in all urban areas and rural areas last month following the Ministry of health provided protection including mask and other materials to the communities leaving outside the capital Hargeisa.

Somaliland has undertaken separate efforts to restrict travel and public gatherings in all Somaliland regions in flights and vehicle movements.
