Cabinet Approves the National Threats Assessment Report

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The Cabinet has today approved the National Security Threats Assessment prepared by the office of the National Security Advisor.
The report which the NSA prepares every quarter identifies major threats facing the country and advises the security organs on adequate response.
The report identified eight threats facing the nation. They include terrorism, foreign interventions, climate change, technology and social risks among others.
The Council was also briefed on ongoing military operations against Al-Shabaab.
