Car bomb hits Halwadag district headquarters, casualties feared

A vehicle loaded with explosives blew up in the compound of Hawlwadag District offices destroying buildings and cars parked in the compound.

Pictures from the scene show damaged vehicles and buildings but there were no immediate reports of casualties.

It’s not clear yet if any group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack comes few days after intelligence reports cited an impending attack in the city.
