Deadly Burao accident leaves three dead, seven injured

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BURAO: Three people were killed and seven others injured in a car accident that took place late last night in Qoyta area on the outskirts of Burco town in Somaliland.

The accident took place when the vehicle they were traveling in lost control and overturned, resulting in the deaths and injuries of the victims.

Somaliland traffic police officers arrived at the scene, and together with locals, helped rush the injured to Burao City Hospital.

The Burao road has seen several accidents that have claimed the lives of many people and left scores others with injuries, with fingers being pointed at the Somaliland administration for neglecting the road which has gaping holes, posing great danger to its users.
