Explosive concealed in printer explodes at Beletweyne airport, four injured
At least four people have been injured in a car explosion at the entrance of Beletweyne airport in central Somalia.
Goobjoog News correspondent in Beletweyne Al Adaalo said the explosion happened when a car carrying a printer was being checked by airport security officials.
“The explosives were concealed in a printer and it exploded when security officials manning the entrance of the airport were trying to inspect,” said Adaalo.
The injured are yet to be transported to hospital for treatment, our correspondent says.
Local police and authorities have not commented on the matter.
A bomb laden laptop exploded mid air last month on a Daallo airline flight about 35 minutes after it left the Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu.
