Fatal road accident claims the life of one person, injures two others in Nugal region

GOOBJOOG NEWS/GAROWE: A grisly road accident that took place this morning between Garowe and Bosaso in Nugal and Bari regions has claimed the life of one person and injured two others.

The accident happened after a car carrying three people lost control and overturned on the road between Dalsan and Haji Khair villages in Nugal region.

The vehicle was reported to have left Garowe, the regional capital of Puntland, and was en route to Bosaso, the capital of Bari region.

While confirming the incident, Nugal Regional Traffic Police officials said that one person was killed and two others were injured in the accident, and that the injured had been rushed to Garowe City Hospital.

The officials also added that investigations have commenced to unravel the cause of the fatal accident.

Hardly a month passes by before a fatal accident is reported on the stretch between Garowe and Bosaso, with fingers pointing at poor road network and overspeeding by drivers.
