Fighting between two clans erupts in Baletweyne, central Somalia

Fighting has flared up in Balaweyne, central Somalia between two clans, sources say.

Residents told Goobjoog News two groups of armed men from two clans clashed after a dispute over illegal levies imposed by one group.

There are no casualties reported but the region has seen perennial infighting among a number of clans who inhabit the area.
