Food Prices Sky Rocket in Hudur, Bakool

Authorities in Hudur , the main city in Bakol region is so concerned about the food prices there which they said has sky rocketed due to the ongoing blockage by Alshabab on the town.
A kilo of rice or sugar costs more than $1 dollar which is beyond the means of many residents, including IDPs’ from the surrounding localities.
Mustafa Aadan Hussein is the head of social affairs in Hudur, he told Goobjoog that the worst hit are the IDPs during the month of fasting.
But the official said they were relieved by occasional help by the African peace keepers who give escort to a convoy of trade commodities to the town.
