Former Galmudug president urges Galmudug and Puntland to solve their difference through dialogue

The former president of Galmudug state in Central Somalia Mohamed Ahmed Alin urged the administrations of Puntland and Galmudug to solve the tensions in the region in a peaceful dialogue.

“ The people in the region share common interest and they don’t need further conflicts that will cause confusion” the former president said.

The former Galmudug president Alin said it is sad to see the region going back to the black days of confrontations and disagreements that has damaged the developments in the area.

He stated that the two administrations are part of the federal government of Somalia and therefore need to forward their grievances for federal government to end the discord.

Many intellectuals warn that the fresh dispute between Puntland and Galmudug administration might go out of hand if not solved immediately.
