Government Solider Allegedly Kills A Trader In Lafoole

One of the government Somali soldiers has allegedly killed a trader in Lafoole locality under Afgoye district.

Afgoye deputy district commissioner for social affairs, Abdullahi Abdi has confirmed to Goobjoog News that a government soldier in lafoole has deliberately killed a civilian who was operating in that area.

He added that the forces are conducting operations to apprehend the soldier behind the cruel act.

“Blatantly, the soldier asked money a driver of a lorry carrying trade commodities for the trader but the merchant showed the soldier the tax receipt issued by the lower government, he become irate and killed the trader, we talked to the security commanders of the district and they promised that they will apprehend the murderer as soon as possible” he said.

He added “As the administration of Afgoye, We are hot on his heels and we will apprehend him”

Incidents of killing civilians by the government soldiers became recurrent issues and security experts suggest that the government should take these soldiers who are terrorizing the public to their garrisons and to carry out initiatives to remove roadblocks set by the armed men dressed in Somali National Army
