Gov’t and Allied Militia Seize Barrels of Fuel Destined for Al-Shabaab

GOOBJOOG NEWS|MUDUG: The Somali National Army and allied Community Defence Forces seized several barrels of fuel which was suspected to be heading to Al-Shabaab bases in El Dheer district in Mudug region.

Military officials told local media that the allied forces seized 50 jerricans of fuel in Howdley area following an joint operation in the region.

The seizure is part of ongoing operations by government forces with the support of allied militia in central regions to annihilate the militant group.
