Guellah: “Djiboutian soldiers came to help people of Hiraan region and entire Somalia”
The president of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guellah who visited baladwein town and then proceeded to Bulo-burde has mentioned how Djiboutian troops took part in peace restoration and the support they gave to Somali people especially those living in Hiraan region.
The president said that at begun of operation of Djiboutian troops in the region the local resident were having butterfly in their stomachs but according him, he knew how strategically important the area is and how people were eager for liberation, therefore the troops worked tirelessness to liberate the public from Al-Shabab fighters. Later on, when the dream became true, people started trusting the troops and shown them cooperation.
Mr Guellah called upon people of Hiraan region to take part in the process of peace in the region and keep away any violence which lug behind the developments Hiraan region.
The president arrived Somalia two days ago to attend world mother language day ceremony held Mogadishu.
