Hand bomb hurled on a police station injures 4 soldiers
At least four soldiers sustained injuries after unknown armed assailants hurled hand bombs on a police station in Bosaso district, the headquarters of Bari region.
Our correspondent in Bari region Mohamed Hassan Dhalo says two of the wounded soldiers who were severely wounded were admitted to Bosaso general hospital where they are being treated.
The security officials are under intensive investigations to bring the attackers to justice, no one was yet arrested in connection with the attack.
This is the second attack inside Bosaso within a week as no one claimed the responsibility of the assault, but the administration of Puntland often blame Al-shabab of behind the attacks in the region.
Puntland has declared that they have uprooted Al-shabab from the region after four days heavy fighting in Galgala mountains.
Puntland president Abdiweli Mohamed Ali Gaas briefing the media in Garowe last week stated that they killed over 30 Al-shabab members during the fight adding that Galgala is under the full control of Puntland forces.
