Heavily armed Ethiopian troops with battle wagons crossed Somalia-Ethiopia border the last 24 hours.
A resident in Dolow district who spoke on a condition of anonymity due to security reasons told Gob Jog FM that the forces were heading to Bay and Bakol regions.
Our correspondent in Gedo region reports that this is the biggest number of Ethiopian troops to ever cross the border since they joined African Union peace-keeping troops last year.
