Hiiraan-based Al-Shabaab leader among 20 terrorists killed in Jicibow 

GOOBJOOG NEWS|BELETWEYNE; The Somali National killed at least 21 Al-Shabaab terrorists in a counter-terrorism operation in Hiiraan region, SNA officials have confirmed.

Rakhib Mohamed Hassan, a top Al-Shabaab leader in Hiiraan region was among the terrorists neutralized in the security operation carried out in Jicibow for the last two days.

The killing of the Hiiraan Al-Shabaab leader comes a few days after the army also killed Mohamed Nur Shire, a leader of the terror group based in Lower Shabelle region.

Just two days ago, Al-Shabaab also suffered a staggering defeat at the hands of the Somali National Army, backed by locals, in an operation near Jicibow village, which killed 200 terrorists, according to the Somali News Agency, SONNA.
