HirShabelle government orders aid agencies to register afresh

The Ministry of Planning, Investment and International Cooperation in Hirshabelle has instructed aid agencies to register before January 31, 2020.

The ministry said it aims to accelerate the activities ahead of 2020, and that it is important to have a proper census of humanitarian organizations operating in Hirshabeelle state.

In the year 2019, areas of Hirshabeelle were affected badly and destroyed many crops by the flooding of the Shabelle River, which the Federal Government and international organization responded and rescored many people.
