Hirshabelle announces delegates for 3 seats and postpones elections for 6 seats

GOOBJOOG NEWS/JOWHAR: The Hirshabelle State Elections Implementation Team has announced the selection of delegates for the 3 seats in Beletweyne.

Among the three seats is HOP068, which is expected to be defended by the Government Spokesman Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimuu, who recently returned from Turkey where he had been airlifted for treatment following an assassination attempt.

Meanwhile, the HirShabelle Electoral Team has announced the postponement of elections for 6 seats earlier scheduled for Saturday 26/02/2022 due to technical reasons.

The team has announced that elections for the 6 seats namely HOP006, HOP022, HOP003, HOP032, HOP252 and HOP068 will be held on Sunday 27/02/2022.
