Hirshabelle announces Delegation Selection Committee for HOP058 seat

GOOBJOOG NEWS/JOWHAR: Hirshabelle State polls team announced last night the list of traditional elders and civil society members who will select delegates for HOP058 seat in the House of the People in Beletweyne town.

Election of seat HOP058 previously held by Nur Idow Beyle for the past few years is set to be held today in Beletweyne town. 

Nur Idow Beyle has reportedly been left out of the race for the seat in Beletweyne, after the Hirshabelle Electoral Commission opened the race for the seat.

HOP058 seat will today be contested for by Abdullahi Mohamed Ali Shanbaloolshe, former Commander of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) and other candidates.

Hirshabelle administration is expected to conclude the election of the following three remaining seats tomorrow in Beledweyne:

1. HOP019 

2. HOP059 

3. HOP039
