Hirshabelle elections committee releases 13 seats to be elected in Beletweyne

GOOBJOOG NEWS/JOWHAR: Hirshabelle State Elections Implementation Committee has announced 13 seats in the House of the People to be elected in Beletweyne, the second largest constituency in Hirshabelle state.

Below are the thirteen seats and their sitting MPs.

1. HOP#003: Mohamud Abdirahman Benebene.

2. HOP#006: Mohamud Abdullahi Ahmed.

3. HOP#008: Dr. Hussein Abdi Elmi.

4. HOP#015: Xis Hassan Adan.

5. HOP#022: Osman Mohamed Abdi.

6. HOP#031: Yusuf Hussein Ahmed (Gama’diid) (Minister of State in the Ministry of Justice).

7. HOP#032: Khalif Abdi Omar (Minister of Trade & Industry).

8. HOP#068: Fadumo Farah Ibrahim.

9. HOP#074: Abdullahi Olad Roble,(former Deputy Minister of Defense).

10. HOP#086: Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir.

11. HOP#109: Abdifatah Qasim Mohamud( Deputy Minister of Defense).

12. HOP#252: Abdiaziz Salah Armaan (former Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs).

13. HOP#274: Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan Nuh.

The 13 seats announced today by the Hir-Shabelle Electoral Committee will be the first seats in the House of the People to be elected in Beletweyne after Jowhar.
