GOOBJOOG NEWS | JOWHAR: Hirshabelle State Vice President Yusuf Ahmed Hagar Dabageed has issued a rallying call for an intensified assault on Al-Shabaab, urging a decisive push to liberate the remaining areas under militant control in the Hiiraan region.

Dabageed dismissed any possibility of negotiations with the extremist group, drawing a sharp distinction between Al-Shabaab and conflicts between neighboring nations or clans that often end through diplomacy.

“Every war ends with dialogue, but this one with Al-Shabaab ends with gunfire,” he declared. “The men who denied you water will never let you dig your own wells. The only path forward is to fight.”

The Vice President emphasized the urgent need for unity between federal forces, local militias, and the Ma’awisley fighters, warning that internal divisions could weaken their efforts.

“This enemy has forced our communities to stand together in defense of their lands. If we unite, we will prevail. Government forces and local militias must fight as one—attack the enemy, stay disciplined, and follow orders. That is the key to victory,” he urged.

Dabageed’s call to action comes as security forces continue operations against Al-Shabaab, with momentum building for a final push to reclaim key territories.
