Inauguration of Puntland president: “I forgive you forgive me” says president Farmajo

President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has expressed his gratitude towards the parliamentarians of Puntland state for their exemplary election of Said Abdullahi Deni

Speaking during the inauguration of Puntland President Said Abdullahi Deni, President Farmajo also extended the same appreciation to the presidential contenders who accepted the final outcome of the result amicably.

He mentioned that the new President of Puntland is a well-known figure in the countries politics and encouraged him to serve his people better reminding him that leadership is not something to be taken lightly.

In the same breath, he advises the new leader to fulfil all the all his campaign pledges he made namely provision of education, health, security, justice, development and economic improvement.

Going further on this, President Farmajo reminded the newly elected President of Puntland the essential need to preserve justice and avoiding favouritism and nepotism.

President of Farmajo said “I forgive you forgive me” and he promises to fully cooperate with the regional state governments, as a Somali elder.

Finally, President Farmajo has praised the Puntland administration for its extensive development in the region.
