Jowhar administration upgrades main roads in the district

The constructions of roads in all villages of  Jowhar district, the headquarters of Middle Shabelle region has been concluded.

The project that was implemented by the administration Middle Shabelle region getting helping hand from the government of Britain has been completed, the locals particularly drivers have noted improvements according to many who talked to the media.

The beauty of the town has improved after the repair of the main roads that connect the different parts of the district, also the main bridge in Jowhar was repaired paving way for quick transportation.

Other reports from the region states that a British company will soon start the reconstruction of the main road connecting Balad and Jowhar districts that has suffered heavy destruction, the roads received no repair since the collapse of Central government.

The administration has recently promised to install solar power powered street lights in all the main roads of Jowhar district so as improve security and allow business activities along the roads to boom during the night.

The federal government of Somalia normally encourage the public to take part in a common good projects in the country including refurbishment of old government institutions, roads, cleaning of garbage for the public interest.
