Justice Ministry launches JJCP project in Mogadishu

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama has launched the Joint Justice and Corrections Program (JJCP) under the Justice and Constitutional Affairs Ministry.
Justice Minister Hassan Moalim Mohamud said justice is paramount in any progressive society and called on the Somali citizens to support the government’s efforts in ensuring there is justice for all.
“There can be no society if there is no justice system that the society trusts. This JJCP project is based on the community and so, we must join forces to ensure that our people get justice.”
The function was also attended by the Chief Justice, Bashe Yusuf, Ministers, Members of the Parliament, and International Partners.
