Mp Mahad Salad call to cease fire in Hiiran region

Mahad Salad a member of the federal parliament of Somalia has called for an immediate ceasefire of the clan clash in Mahas district of Hiran region.

Mahad said it is important to maintain a peaceful co-existence as well as to bring peace and stability to the people of Hiraan.

Mahad salad has also requested the authorities of Hirshabeel, Hiraan Governor and the Traditional leaders of the two clans fighting to take an immediate response to end the clans fighting in the region.

Yusuf Dabaged the governor of Hiran region leading a delegation of intellectuals have arrived on Sunday in Mahas district of Hiran region to end the clan clashes.

Yusuf Ahmed Hagar Daba-geed who addressed the media yesterday has called on the local communities to take the peace in the border clashes of the areas between Hiran and Galgadud.

Hiiraan has been experiencing tensions between clans in the region, but the leaders in the region have made lots of efforts to bring these tensions to an end.
