Military Man Shot Dead in Belet-Hawo

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GEDO: A military man was killed in Belet-Hawo town in the Gedo region Monday under unclear circumstances, sources said.

The officer, identified as Jama Aden Hassan was shot dead as he left a gym in the evening by an armed man. The circumstances surrounding the killing of the officer was not immediately clear.

Hassan was the logistics commander of the Somali National Army based in Belet-Hawo.

The killer fled the scene immediately, according to eyewitnesses.
