Minister for commerce and industry: “The traders should be held countable on what they deliver to the public”
The minister for commerce and industry of Somali federal government, Abdirahman Abdi Osman has today stated that they will regulate the quality of what traders import.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony for trade ministry said they will not let certain traders to suck the blood of the public through a shortcut way to money by importing expired food and medicine.
“The traders should be held countable on what they deliver to the public, today the government is capable to conduct quality checking on the import products by Somali traders” the minister said.
Mr. Abdirahman called upon the traders to abide by the law and pay the legal tax to the government.
The former minister for commerce and industry, Adan Mohamed Noor welcomed the new minister and informed him the headways of the ministry during his time office. he also urged the staffs of ministry to work hand in hand with the minister.
