Mohamed Abdi Farah Elected MP in By-Election in Dhusamareb

GOOBJOOG NEWS|DHUSAMAREB: Mohamed Abdi Farah was today elected MP in Dhusamareb during a by-election following the appointment of the former MP as the Director General of Immigration and Citizenship.
Farah, the son of a prominent businessperson in Dhusamareb- Abdi Ali Farah won against a female contender in the just-concluded by-election. He now succeeds Mustaf Dhuhulow who was appointed to head the Immigration and Citizenship department.
The election today is part of a series of mini-polls across the country.
Another seat to be filled is that of the Director General of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Abdullahi Sanbaloolshe and two more to replace Khadija Mohamed Diiriye and Mohamud Mohamed Seeseey, both of who are now deceased.
