NISA Inks Collaboration Agreement with Tanzania’s Spy Agency

GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) has signed an agreement with the Tanzanian spy agency, Tanzania Intelligence and Security Service (TISS) that will see the two sides collaborate in counter terrorism operations.

The deal was signed in Mogadishu during a meeting between NISA’s director Abdullahi Mohamed Ali and his Tanzanian counterpart Suleiman Abubakar Mombo where their discussions focused on strengthening the exchange of critical information and intelligence, vital for improving security in the region.

The signing of the MoU marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts of both agencies to work together in addressing common security challenges and fostering a safer environment for their respective countries.

The visit by the Tanzanian intelligence officials to Somalia reflects the commitment of both nations to deepen their cooperation and share best practices in intelligence and security operations.
