NISA intercepts bus ferrying suspected Al-shabaab recruits
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Tuesday intercepted a mini-bus that was carrying 25 people, including minors believed to have been attempting to join the Al-Shabaab terrorist group near Afgoye district.
The agency, acting on an anonymous tip apprehend all the passengers in the vehicle including the driver and two accomplices who are believed to have been facilitating the recruitment.
The Federal Government of Somalia is waging a full offensive war on the militants on all fronts including their finances, hideouts, and all the areas they controlled.
The government has also announced plans to kick off the second phase of its offensive against the Al-Shabaab militants.
