One dead, four wounded after gunmen hurl grenades at a night club in Wajir
One person died and four others sustained injuries after men attacked and hurled two grenades at a night club popular with people with people from the other regions of the country.
Wajir county commissioner who spoke to BBC confirmed that the attack occurred at around 8.30 PM local time.
The commissioner stated that the security tried to chase the attackers but they resisted finally totaling to a gunfire that continued for ten minutes.
The gunmen also attacked local AP( administration police) station in the district as local sources confirm.
The situation is now calm as no one claimed the responsibility of the attack.
This comes a week after 28 people, Christians on board of a bus were killed in the outskirts of Mandera district, Al-shabab claimed the responsibility of the attack.
