Puntland special forces mount operations targeting Shabaab and ISIS in Bari region

Puntland Special Forces have conducted a series of operations in the past few days to route out Al-Shabaab and ISIS elements in Al-madow mountains in Bari region.

Officials in Puntland who were part of the operation told the media that al-Shabaab had suffered casualties and that the operation was ongoing.

Puntland forces have intensified operations against al-Shabaab and Daish, where they are operating in the mountainous areas of Bari region.

Daish paraded some people yesterday it said had completed training in the area
