PHOTOS: President Mohamud meets traditional elders in Garowe

GOOBJOOG NEWS|GAROWE: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held met with traditional elders in Garowe Sunday evening in his week-long tour of Puntland.

According to a statement from Villa Somalia, the President held talks with the elders drawn from different parts of Puntland.

 Villa Somalia further said the President engaged the elders in their role in strengthening the governance and unity of the country.

The President has been in Puntland for close to a week now where he has inspected several development projects and met with a cross-section of leaders, women and civil society groups.
