PM Barre Appoints Deputy Ministers in Cabinet Shake-Up
GOOBJOOG NEWS | MOGADISHU: Federal Government of Somalia Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has appointed new deputy ministers in a cabinet reshuffle aimed at strengthening the government’s capacity and improving service delivery.
In a decree, the prime minister named Hassan Mohamed Ali as Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nadiifa Aadam Isaaq as Deputy Minister for Energy and Water Resources, and Ismail Cid Mohamed as Deputy Minister for Planning, Investment and Economic Development.
The Federal Government of Somalia said the appointments follow recent vacancies and are part of broader efforts to enhance efficiency and respond to growing administrative demands.
Barre urged the new officials to carry out their duties with professionalism and integrity, stressing the need to prioritise public interest and support national development.
