PM Roble visits injured government spokesman in hospital
Goobjoog News/Mogadishu: Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble last night visited the Somali government’s spokesman Mohamed Ibrahim Moalim, who sustained injuries following a suicide terror attack while travelling on Mogadishu’s Dabka junction, on Sunday.
The Prime Minister held a conversation with Moalim who is recovering well, and wished him a speedy recovery.
The Prime Minister was also briefed by the medical team handling the government spokesman, and was told that his was condition was improving.
Prime Minister Roble had earlier issued a statement strongly condemning the ‘odious terrorist attack’ that targeted the Government Spokesman, adding that Moalim had sustained injuries but his life was out of danger.
The former veteran journalist and current government spokesperson has survived a series of bombings targeted at him, with yesterday’s PBIED attack being the fourth attempt at his life.
